Certification is now the first filter a buyer, a tender committee or a customs officer applies — before price, before specs, before your pitch even starts. Here’s what each of our certifications actually means, and why it should matter to you as much as it matters to us.
CE, FCC and RoHS: The International Baseline
CE and FCC confirm a product meets European and American electromagnetic safety standards — internationally recognised proof that it was engineered and tested properly, not assembled on hope. RoHS confirms it doesn’t contain banned hazardous materials, a certification that rarely comes up until a client’s sustainability policy or export requirement asks for it directly. Every camera, PoE switch and power supply we manufacture carries all three as standard.
BIS: The One That Can Legally Stop a Sale
BIS registration under the Compulsory Registration Scheme is not optional for CCTV cameras and recorders sold in India — without it, a product cannot legally be sold here at all. Sell an unregistered product and the risk isn’t a lost deal, it’s a legal one, for you as much as the manufacturer. This is also the certification most likely to be misrepresented under pricing pressure, so verify it yourself on the official BIS portal rather than trusting a carton. Our certifications are documented and verifiable — we’d rather you check than trust us blindly.
ISO 9001:2015 and GeM: Process and Access
ISO 9001:2015 certifies the quality management system behind the product — in-house SMT assembly, testing and quality control at our Okhla facility. It’s the certification that correlates most closely with failure rate, which is the metric that actually affects your warranty claims, a subject we’ve written about before. GeM registration, meanwhile, is your door into government procurement — as we’ve covered in detail, now the largest and steadiest CCTV buyer in the country, and increasingly closed to non-compliant brands.
What This Looks Like on Our AHD Camera Range
For dealers specifically selling our AHD camera range — 2MP and 5MP, warmlight and standard variants — every one of these certifications applies directly to the models you’re quoting, not just to the company in the abstract.
